2004 – Marquez Avenue Business District Project was a partnership with the local merchants to remove the blighted building signage and enhance the streetscape with Chinese Golden Flame trees and decorative grates, lamp posts, metal trash bins (2005-iron benches were added) plus landscaping and irrigation directly across the street from the commercial businesses.
