City Bus Stop Bench Replacement
PRIDE worked with the City of Los Angeles to replace the “eyesore” concrete advertising bus stop benches and metal trash baskets along Sunset Boulevard in the Pacific Palisades with attractive cast iron benches and trash bins (without advertising marquees). Years later (2003-2005), PRIDE fought arduously and worked with the P.P.C.C. to minimize the “big media” advertising bus shelter onslaught campaign that targeted the Pacific Palisades. Under an agreement between CBS/Decaux and the City of Los Angeles the number of signs were brought down to only three.
